And Back Home
We did not have a good Omaha visit this week. Seems like there are too many things competing for Isaiah's attention. He's been in the hospital at least one week per month since we were released. The team doesn't want to put a port in due to infection issues, we don't want him in the hospital so he can get through 2nd grade. So we basically were discharged with nothing changed except his lab numbers looked better when we left. So now we're waiting to see how he does the next few months. The ostomy take down is still scheduled for June, but little Ike has to go to summer school to catch up on his math. I think we'll leave it up to God and do what He leads us to do...

Hi there! My name is Melissa Long, and my son Bobby goes to school with Isaiah. Bobby was asking me questions last night about Isaiah's health, and well, I did not have any answers, but I found this blog and it helped Bobby and I to understand a little better about the struggles that Isaiah is going through. After we discussed this, he told me that we needed to pray for Isaiah. So last night before bed we said a prayer for your family and the health of Isaiah.
ReplyDeleteI also have a weekly women's bible study at my work, and asked at the end of our meeting that we pray for him. I don't think that anyone left the room with dry eyes...
Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you always, and that Isaiah is a warrior and will make it through this battle!
If there is anything that we can do, please do not hesitate to ask!!
